fun place, i love eating there because it has great food and is pretty cheap. they have a pretty cheap kid's menu. when you think of moe's, think a MUCH nicer version of taco bell (i kind of think of it as the Chic-fil-a of mexican food). staff is friendly.

It is hit or miss here (anywhere from 1 to 5 depending on when you go). Sometimes it is the greatest food and experience but usually you get ripped off by their ridiculous stinginess. I have pics of my tacos from last time that have less than a teaspoon of meat in them. The service there is a lot worse than it used to be because it looks like they have cut back on their staff. We were meeting friends there who went through the line in a matter of a couple of minutes. We got there five minutes later and it took almost 20 minutes to get through the line because they got backed up then someone went on a break and it got worse. I recommend going early for lunch (before noon) because it is usually better then. You can also get the Funkmeisters buy 2 get 1 free deal and chips and eat on it for lunch and dinner (if they aren't stingy with the meat) for $4.75. Parking is horrible.

My bf is a BIG fan of Mexican food. So no matter what city we're in, we have to first eat Mexican food there! So we made a pit-stop at Purdue just to check it out while we were actually headed to Indianapolis for canvassing. Moe's has a very interesting brand and it almost made me want to be a restaurant brand consultant instead! Haha Well the food, service and atmosphere were all quite good and pleasing!

Moe's Southwest Grill is a standard Mexican-American fast food restaurant. I was hungry, and didn't have much time so I tried the closest place to me, which happened to be Moes. I ordered 3 small hard shell tacos with a variety of standard toppings. Surprisingly, the total came to $10+. TASTE: Bad. The meat was completely flavorless. No spice, seasonings, no zest, no flavor. The diced tomatoes were squishy. Even the peppers and onions were bland, as if all of the flavor had been steamed out of them. The dining experience was as uneventful as McDonalds. QUALITY: Bad. The food did not look fresh. The lettuce and other veggies were browning and wilted. As a few other reviewers have mentioned, the chicken and steak was cold. This is a catastrophic problem, because not only does it taste bad, but room-temperature protein breeds bacteria. STAFF: Although my poor dining experience motivates me to rip-into the customer service as well, I have to admit: they were friendly. The staff smiled, took my order quickly, made my food as I watched, seemed busy and active. Overall, the staff delivered as much as can be expected from a minimum-wage fast food job. PRICE: Shockingly expensive. Competing mexican fast-food restaurants in the area are significantly cheaper. Finally, I simply can't recommend Moes. The friendly staff saved the restaurant from a dreaded 1-star rating. Unfortunately, the overpriced, cold, and flavorless cuisine leaves much to be desired. With much better and less expensive options within a mile in any direction, the entire purpose for Yelp's existence is to educate customers enough to help them avoid making the mistake of dining at Moe's. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Service is very slow, food didn't look fresh. Employees were clueless. Food was cold when eating it. There are much better options in the area. Chipotle has much better food and service.

I love moes but you can tell its a franchised restaurant because this one was. It very good. Employees were not very accommodating and the food was meh. They didn't drain the beans and they charged me for a bowl for salsa. I can't tell if it was just a bad day or they really don't give a $#!^ but I'm not impressed this time.

First time I ordered, I ordered a side of queso. Not only was my "John Coctostan" completely wrong, but I received salsa instead of queso. Second time, they got the john coctostan, but messed up the queso again. For my order, and for my room mate. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, she gave some explanation as to why they charged me for the queso, not why I had salsa. They need better attention to detail.

It's your typical moe's. I always go on Mondays for the $6 burrito with any fillings, chips and a drink. Get the sautéed mushrooms and the southwestern ranch on your burritos, makes it have a little more flavor.

Short on time, hungry, and needed something to go. Moe's was steps away. The single thing I liked about this place was the burrito called the Art Vandalay. He's an architect. Or an importer/exporter, whichever. I love you, tv. Anyway, the burrito makers were barely alert, the burrito was cold, the rice was crunchy. But I could shovel it in while racing over the bridge into downtown, so there's that.

Oh Moe's. I want to love you, because in the past you have been great at this location. However you've been lacking in recent visits. Dirty tables, disgusting restrooms that make bar bathrooms seem spiffy by comparison, and occasionally completely out of ingredients or certain salsas. The final straw was seeing that the fish tacos (Taco called Wanda) are gone, daddy, gone. :( Bring back the fish tacos, please.

All you need to know about Moe's: Queso = Happiness. The rest of the food is pretty darn good as well.

I like Moe's, especially when they have a "buy one entree, get one free" coupon. But then, I always used to tease my late, great cat, Moe, that this restaurant belonged to him, and that he was a little entrepreneur! Everything I've had here has been tasty.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
